Patna: After much anticipation, the Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has finally announced the date for the Class 12 results. The announcement was made by the Chairman of the Bihar Board, Anand Kishor, during a press conference at the Bihar Vidyalaya Examination Committee. The 12th result was declared by the Bihar Board on Saturday at 1:30 PM. Along with the results, the list of toppers, district-wise performance of students, and other details have also been released. According to the Bihar School Examination Committee, 87.21% of students have passed the exams this year. In the Arts stream, 86%, in the Science stream 87%, and in the Commerce stream, 94% of students have passed the exams. Mritunjay Kumar of Siwan has topped in the Science stream with 96.2% marks. In the Arts stream, Tushar Kumar of Patna Commerce College has secured the top position with 96.4% marks. Meanwhile, Priya Kumari of Sheikhpura has topped in the Commerce stream with 96.6% marks and has become the state topper with the highest score.
Girls Lead Again with Improved Results
Anand Kishor stated that this year’s results are better compared to last year. Students have performed well in all three streams. This year, 88.84% of students have passed the exams. Anand Kishor congratulated all the board and school employees and teachers for releasing the results first in the country once again. He congratulated the successful students and advised the unsuccessful ones to stay patient. He also mentioned that the board will soon conduct exams for them.
How to Check the Result
To check the result, candidates need to visit the official website of BSEB. Then, they have to click on the link for BSEB Intermediate Result 2024 on the homepage. After clicking the link, a page will open where candidates have to enter their roll number and roll code. After submitting the details, the result will appear on the screen, and students can download it.
13 Lakh Students Appeared for the Exam
A total of 13 lakh students appeared for the Intermediate Exam 2024, which was conducted from February 1 to February 12. Now, their results have been declared. The process of topper’s intelligence verification was completed yesterday. The Bihar Board has been announcing the annual examination results of Intermediate first in the country for the past several years, and this record is set to continue this year as well.
