Canadian sex toy retailer PinkCherry.ca took a look at consumer purchases and behaviours from last year to reveal its list of sexiest cities and towns for 2024.
The company analysed sex toy sales per person in cities with populations of more than 300,000 and towns with populations lower than that.
Toronto is now at No. 7 after two straight years of being in ninth place and the analysis found Torontonians have a penchant for handcuffs and restraints.
Other Ontario cities include London in fourth, where sexy residents are prefer to keep things low-key, and Ottawa edging just ahead of Toronto in the No. 6 spot with an affinity for app-controlled couples toys.
However, it’s Alberta that takes the lead in the sexuality with Calgary as its residents’ love of lubricants edging at No. 1, while Edmonton shoppers, who couldn’t wait to get their hands on vibrators, took second place.
Winnipeg, Vancouver, Victoria, Montreal and Surrey, B.C., also edge the cut due to their love of fun sex toys (some of which even glow in the dark).
Canada’s sexiest towns are Roberval, Que., Amos, Que., Estevan, Sask., Carleton Place, Ont., Edmundston, N.B., Powell River, B.C., Lacombe, Alta., High River, Alta., Salmon Arm, B.C., and Lachute, Que.
