Former Chief Minister Jeetan Ram Manjhi has mocked the election manifesto of the RJD. He took a jibe at the RJD’s manifesto on the social media site X, suggesting that it may have missed some crucial points. His suggestions included whimsical promises like “integrating America into India,” “making the sun rise from the west,” “turning sea water into sweet water,” and “making mountains fly in the air.” Manjhi further remarked that now that Tejashwi Yadav knows his government is unlikely to come into power, he can make any promises he wants.
BJP Also Criticizes
Neeraj Kumar, BJP’s spokesperson in Bihar, also criticized the RJD’s manifesto, suggesting that Tejashwi Yadav’s IQ has decreased, as evidenced by the absurd promises in the manifesto. He stated that the RJD’s manifesto is a pile of lies aimed at deceiving the public, with no possibility of bringing about any real change.
Tejashwi Yadav’s Response
During the release of the RJD’s manifesto, Tejashwi Yadav asserted that they have released a manifesto for change, comprising 24 promises for the 2024 elections. He pledged to fulfill every promise made for Bihar’s development, highlighting their track record of fulfilling promises made during the 2020 Bihar Assembly elections.
In addition, Samrat Chaudhary and Chirag Paswan have also criticized Tejashwi’s manifesto, questioning how much land they would take in exchange for jobs.
