In the lead-up to the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, Delhi Chief Minister and National Convenor of the Aam Aadmi Party, Arvind Kejriwal, addressed a public gathering in Kurukshetra, Haryana. Advising voters, he emphasized not to get caught up in the selection of the Prime Minister but instead urged them to vote for their Members of Parliament. Kejriwal drew parallels with the Mahabharata, comparing the political scenario to the battle between ‘dharma’ and ‘adharma,’ stating that despite being smaller, they have Lord Krishna with them. He urged people to choose MPs who will work for them during challenging times.

In a plea to the electorate, Kejriwal cautioned against making a mistake in choosing the Prime Minister and urged them to focus on electing Members of Parliament who would effectively serve their constituents. He highlighted the importance of selecting representatives capable of addressing the needs of the people during difficult circumstances.

Furthermore, it was noted that AAP and Congress have engaged in seat-sharing agreements in several states, including Delhi and Haryana. In Delhi, AAP is contesting on four Lok Sabha seats, while Congress is vying for three. In Haryana, the Aam Aadmi Party has fielded candidates from the Kurukshetra constituency. Notably, both parties are contesting separately in Punjab.

As the political landscape intensifies with the approaching Lok Sabha elections, various parties, including AAP, are actively conducting rallies and engaging in public discourse to garner support from the electorate.
