City residents are extremely troubled by the ongoing electricity issues. They are currently facing frequent power cuts and low voltage problems. This has been a continuous problem for several days. Due to power cuts during day and night, people are not getting enough sleep. Children are also unable to study properly because of power cuts and low voltage, causing significant disruptions to their education.
This issue is not limited to one locality; residents of areas like Malkadma, Chhaur Road, Hospital Road, Line Par Mijdoor, Gola Road, and others are also affected. Despite numerous complaints, there has been no solution in sight. Local residents have lost all hope in the electricity department employees.
In many places, it is observed that local residents themselves are trying to run transformers at reduced capacity to manage the issue. They are actively participating in efforts to resolve these problems, while the entire system of the electricity department remains paralyzed. The department’s service system is completely inactive, with almost all meter projects halted.
People have started paying for electricity from private sources to meet their needs. They hope that this situation will improve soon, and they will be able to see better facilities.
