On average, these visionary startup founders are just 41 years old, a testament to their dynamic approach to entrepreneurship. Notable among these entrepreneurs are Radha Vembu, the driving force behind Zoho, and Nikhil Kamath, the mastermind behind Zerodha. Radha Vembu, for instance, witnessed a 14% increase in her net wealth, allowing her to eclipse Falguni Nayar of Nykaa and claim the title of the wealthiest self-made Indian woman on the list.
The youngest member of this illustrious group is the 20-year-old Kaivalya Vohra, founder of the delivery app Zepto. Nonetheless, a ray of hope shines through, with some IPOs that faced difficulties last year making a remarkable resurgence. Entrepreneurs such as Deepinder Goyal of Zomato and Yashish Dahiya of PB Fintech have witnessed a wealth increase exceeding 70%, emphasizing that wealth creation within the startup realm continues to evolve, even in a changing landscape.
India currently holds the third position in the global tally of unicorns, boasting a remarkable 84 startups on the list.
