Patna: Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has convened a cabinet meeting on June 20 at 11:00 AM in the Cabinet Hall of the Main Secretariat. This will be the second cabinet meeting in just six days since the Model Code of Conduct was lifted. The meeting is expected to address significant decisions, particularly regarding job creation and employment targets set by the government.
Mission Mode for Job and Employment
The NDA government, under the leadership of Nitish Kumar, is taking job creation and employment seriously. Recently, the Chief Minister directed all departmental ministers to operate in mission mode to achieve their employment targets. Therefore, major decisions regarding job and employment policies may be taken in this cabinet meeting. Since the end of the Model Code of Conduct for the Lok Sabha elections, Nitish Kumar has been actively reviewing departmental activities and is set to deliberate with ministers once again tomorrow.
Cabinet Department Issues Letter
The Cabinet Department has issued a letter regarding the meeting, instructing all relevant departments to prepare accordingly. Following the Lok Sabha elections, the Chief Minister held a cabinet meeting last Friday, June 14, where 25 agendas were approved. Significant decisions were made during that meeting, including policies related to employee housing rents and benefits for Mahadalits and minorities.
