Madhubani, Bihar:During the Jan Suraj padayatra in Chunauraganj, political strategist Prashant Kishor made a bold prediction, stating that in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, JDU (Janata Dal United) will not secure even five seats in Bihar. Kishor further forecasted a merger of JDU into RJD (Rashtriya Janata Dal) post the 2024 elections.
Kishor asserted, “I had predicted that BJP would not secure 100 seats in the West Bengal elections, and now I am predicting the dissolution of JDU, which is bound to come true.”
Addressing the question of expanding the scope of reservation, Kishor commented on the underutilization of the existing 50% reservation, suggesting that the right people did not benefit from it. He claimed that the state’s politics is dominated by about 1,250 families, with most MPs, MLAs, and ministers coming from these select political families.
Kishor proposed distributing the responsibilities of key departments among ministers from different castes to address the concentration of power. He also criticized nepotism, highlighting Tejashwi Yadav’s position as Deputy CM due to being Lalu Prasad Yadav’s son, and referred to BJP State President Samrat Choudhary as a product of nepotism.
Predicting on the INDI Alliance, Kishor stated that its impact is negligible in the country, suggesting that Nitish Kumar is playing the final innings of his political career. He expressed administrative approval for making Bagaha and Jhanjharpur districts.
