LONDON, Amidst renewed allegations of racism against the British royal family, the author at the center of the controversy, Omid Scobie, has vehemently denied naming members allegedly involved in questioning the skin color of Prince Harry’s son.

Reports emerged that copies of the Dutch language version of Scobie’s book “Endgame” had to be pulped due to the inclusion of names of two senior royals implicated in discussions about the skin color of Prince Archie before his birth. Prince Harry, son of King Charles III, is of white descent, while his wife, Meghan, is of mixed-race heritage.

In an interview with BBC television on Thursday, Scobie clarified that the original English version of his book, which he signed off on, did not contain any names. He expressed surprise about the issue through social media and explained, “The Dutch publisher told us there was a translation error.” Scobie asserted, “on my life, on my family’s life,” that the inclusion of names was not intentional.

The withdrawal of the Dutch translation has reignited speculation about the identities of the individuals involved, even though Prince Harry and Meghan have never disclosed their names.
