In the aftermath of the significant BJP victory in the recent assembly elections, Union Minister Piyush Goyal joined the social media trend by taking a jibe at Congress MP Rahul Gandhi. Goyal shared a video clip on X, using the popular ‘Moye Moye’ song to highlight the irony of Rahul Gandhi’s predictions aligning with the Congress’s defeat in Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, and Chhattisgarh.

The video emphasized the BJP’s triumph in the Hindi heartland, contrasting with the Congress trailing behind the halfway mark in these northern states. The BJP secured victories in Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh, while overcoming anti-incumbency to retain power in Madhya Pradesh.

Goyal’s dig comes in the wake of the Congress facing a significant setback, with the BJP leading in 166 out of 230 seats in Madhya Pradesh, 115 out of 199 seats in Rajasthan, and 55 out of 90 seats in Chhattisgarh. Despite these losses, the Congress is set to dethrone the decade-old BRS rule in Telangana.
