In a historic victory, the Congress party claimed a landslide win in the Telangana Assembly elections, securing a substantial 64 seats out of the 119-member state Assembly. Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has gracefully acknowledged defeat and submitted his resignation to Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan.

– Rythu Bharosa guarantee for agricultural prosperity, promising ₹15,000 annually to farmers.
– Population-based reservations for BCs, separate sub-plans for BCs and minorities, and a Welfare Board for Economically Backward Classes.
– Promises to address corruption in the construction of the Kaleshwaram project and revive the Chief Minister’s ‘Praja Darbar.’
