In a long-awaited development, residents of Chella Dhangri, a secluded village in Jammu and Kashmir’s Poonch district, are on the brink of experiencing road connectivity for the first time since Independence. Poonch Deputy Commissioner Yasin M Choudhary personally assessed the progress of the road construction, specifically the link connecting Chella Dhangri to Atoli and extending towards the tehsil headquarters.

Having endured decades without accessible roads to nearby panchayats and beyond, the villagers express optimism for the imminent completion of this crucial project. Deputy Commissioner Choudhary, during his visit to the Kenu Kalani panchayat as part of the ‘Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra,’ emphasized the broader significance of such endeavors in ensuring that all segments of society benefit from government schemes.

The ‘Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra’ stands as a nationwide initiative, aiming to engage and inform citizens about the various flagship schemes and programs implemented by the Central government. This milestone marks a significant step towards fostering connectivity and development in a region that has long awaited such infrastructural improvements.
