In a strategic move, IndiGo, the leading budget carrier, is set to become the first airline operating flights from the soon-to-open Ayodhya Airport. Also known as Maryada Purushottam Shri Ram International Airport, it will witness direct flights connecting Ayodhya with Delhi starting January 6, 2024, followed by Ayodhya and Ahmedabad routes commencing on January 11, 2024.

The announcement aligns with the upcoming inauguration of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, scheduled for January 22, 2024. With the city poised for an influx of travelers, IndiGo aims to provide convenient and affordable travel options for pilgrims and tourists, establishing Ayodhya as its 86th domestic destination.

Vinay Malhotra, Head of Global Sales at IndiGo, expressed delight at the launch of operations, emphasizing the airline’s commitment to offering seamless connectivity and enhancing access to Ayodhya’s historical and culturally significant sites.

The move is anticipated to contribute to the surge in traveler numbers, allowing pilgrims direct access to Ayodhya, reinforcing IndiGo’s position as a leading carrier in the country’s aviation landscape.

Graphisads Ltd, a prominent player in integrated advertising and communication solutions, successfully debuted on the NSE Emerge Platform. The stock opened at Rs 111.50, slightly above the IPO price of Rs 111, eventually closing at Rs 105.95. The IPO, which closed on December 5, raised over Rs 53 crore through the issuance of 48.12 lakh fresh equity shares.

Established in 1987, Graphisads operates in advertising services for government, private, and public sector entities. The IPO proceeds will be utilized to enhance capabilities, invest in cutting-edge technologies, and expand market presence.
