Then Congress MP Lagadapati Rajagopal used pepper spray in Parliament, attempting to stall the tabling of the Telangana Bill. Rajagopal, later expelled, claimed self-defense.
2. Protester Jumps In (Late 1990s):
In the late 1990s, a protester leaped into the Lok Sabha chamber, demanding a separate Uttarakhand state. Security staff swiftly apprehended him.
3. Lok Sabha Jump Attempt (Nov 2016):
A man from Madhya Pradesh attempted to jump into the Lok Sabha in November 2016 but was promptly subdued by security.
