Marking the 22nd anniversary of the iconic film “Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham” (K3G), Kajol and Karan Johar took a stroll down memory lane. Released on December 14, 2001, K3G starred Kajol alongside Amitabh Bachchan, Jaya Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Hrithik Roshan, and Kareena Kapoor.

Kajol, in an Instagram post, shared anecdotes from the making of the film. She fondly recalled Shah Rukh Khan’s son, Aryan Khan, making his screen debut as a child actor in K3G. Aryan portrayed the younger version of his father’s character and appeared in scenes with Jaya Bachchan and Amitabh Bachchan.

In her post, Kajol reminisced about the challenges faced during the shoot, including filmmaker Karan Johar collapsing on set due to dehydration in the initial days. She highlighted the film’s grandeur, revealing that Yash uncle renovated makeup rooms at Filmistan studios permanently to accommodate the extensive cast.

Karan Johar, too, shared a montage of the cast on Instagram Reels, expressing gratitude to the magnificent cast and crew for creating a memorable journey. He emphasized the enduring spirit of K3G, kept alive by the audience even after 22 years.

As the film completes 22 years, K3G remains a cultural touchstone, weaving a saga of love and loss, bringing together some of the biggest actors in the industry.
