Lucknow:In a recent musical extravaganza, Lucknow witnessed the charismatic performance of singer-rapper King, also known as Arpan Singh Chandel. The city’s music lovers were treated to a sensational concert at a local mall, where King showcased his diverse talent and left an indelible mark on the audience.

Arriving in style, draped in a white long coat and making a grand entrance in a cage, King set the mood with his opening tracks “Crown” and “Sinner.” The artist, hailing from Uttar Pradesh, connected with the audience by expressing his joy at performing in Lucknow, stating, “Aaj meeri maa bahut khush hogi ki main Lucknow mein perform kar raha hoon” (Today, my mother would be very happy that I am performing in Lucknow).

King presented a repertoire of his popular songs, including “Aafat,” “Baazi,” “Gumshuda,” “O Mere Sona,” and “Tum Saath Rehnaa.” He also paid tribute to the musical legacy with renditions of classics like “Hai Hukku” from the film Gopi Kishan (1994). The artist underwent multiple wardrobe changes, concluding his performance with the chartbuster “Tu Jaana Na Piya,” which he dubbed his “next big song.”

Accompanied by a talented ensemble featuring Dan Thomas on drums, Danik Ghosh on bass guitar, Subhanshu Singh on lead guitar, Akhilesh Khandelwal on keyboards, Section 8 as the DJ, and Roy Soulchild as the hype man, King’s concert was a visual and auditory delight. Local singer Priyanshi Srivastava complemented King as the female vocalist.

The stage came alive with fireworks, confetti blasts, and other visual props, creating a perfect ambiance for the audience to immerse themselves in the music and join the performer in dance and song.

King’s performance not only enthralled the audience but also underscored his status as a music sensation, leaving an unforgettable impression on the vibrant musical landscape of Lucknow.
