Patna,  Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav unveiled Bihar’s new sports policy, promising state government jobs for athletes winning medals. Speaking at a sports event, Yadav stated, “Jo medal layega woh naukri payega (whoever brings a medal will get a job).” The initiative aims to tackle unemployment and promote sports in the state.

A total of 81 sportspersons have been selected for various officer-level positions, including Block Development Officer (BDO) and inspector. Yadav emphasized the importance of education while encouraging children to engage in physical activities. The government, under his leadership, has also recruited over a lakh teachers in a single day to enhance education quality in rural areas.
