In a surprising turn of events, the auction of four properties owned by India’s most wanted terrorist, Dawood Ibrahim, concluded with one land parcel, initially priced at Rs 15,000, being sold for a whopping Rs 2 crore. The buyer, Ajay Srivastava, cited numerology as the reason for the high bid, expressing plans to establish a Sanatan school on the acquired plot in Mumbake village, Ratnagiri district.

While two larger land parcels received no bids, another plot with a reserve price of Rs 1.56 lakh was sold for Rs 3.28 lakh. The auction, conducted under the Smugglers and Foreign Exchange Manipulators (Forfeiture of Property) Act, 1976, saw a total combined reserve price of Rs 19.22 lakh for the four tracts of agricultural land.

Ajay Srivastava, who had previously purchased three properties belonging to Dawood Ibrahim, stated, “I am a Sanatani Hindu, and we follow our panditji. The survey number (of the plot) and the amount have a figure that goes in my favor according to numerology. I will start a Sanatan school on this plot after getting it converted.”

This development comes amidst ongoing efforts to auction properties linked to the underworld don in various locations.
