Nawada, Bihar- In a significant breakthrough, the Bengal Police has swiftly acted against a cyber fraud case originating from the quaint Thalposh village under the jurisdiction of Pakribarawan police station. The mastermind behind the fraudulent activities has been identified as Tinku Kumar, son of Surendra Prasad.

The arrest follows the defrauding of Salahuddin Sheikh, a dedicated member of the Armed Forces stationed in Barrackpore. Tinku Kumar managed to swindle Sheikh out of a staggering sum of 30 lakhs by promising him ownership of an Indian Oil petrol pump. The diligent officer who led the operation, hailing from the Birbhum Operational Police, disclosed that this isn’t the first instance of such deceitful behavior in the region.

Earlier, the collaboration between Bengal Police and the Warisaliganj police bore fruit when two other individuals involved in similar frauds were apprehended. The swift and coordinated effort culminated in the successful arrest of Tinku Kumar, who was observed discussing his fraudulent tactics over phone calls at the time of his capture. The arrest, executed with the full support of the Pakribarawan police, had a dramatic flair, underscoring the gravity of the situation.

Moreover, law enforcement authorities have disclosed that this case involves a network of accomplices, and the police have commenced raids to apprehend the other individuals implicated in this intricate scandal. The Bengal Police is determined to ensure that justice is served and the victims of these fraudulent activities find respite.

As the investigation deepens, it is becoming apparent that this incident is just the tip of the iceberg, shedding light on the pervasive nature of cyber fraud in the region. The police are urging residents to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity to help curb the proliferation of such crimes.
