Mumbai: Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut took to her Instagram Stories on Sunday to share her musings on the peculiar nature of celebrity fandom. Known for her candid expressions, Kangana delved into the enchanting experience of fans encountering actors in public spaces.
She expressed, “The best thing about being an actor is whenever people see you at the airport in the lounge, in the aircraft or even in a shop, restaurant, simply strolling around in the streets, their faces light up with a big unexpected smile as if a small miracle has happened.”
Kangana continued, highlighting the magical connection fans feel when encountering a celebrity. She remarked on the fans’ expressions, ranging from twinkling eyes to tears, and their attempts at selfies. The actress also pondered the surreal sensation of feeling the impact of her own presence through the eyes of her admirers.
“The myth of a cinema star is the sweetest lie ever; I wonder and wonder at this silly business of smiles and tears,” Kangana added.
