Congress leader Rahul Gandhi is leading the ‘Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra’ (Connect India Justice March), currently passing through Assam. In a challenging moment for the police and security forces in Sonitpur district, a crowd stopped Rahul Gandhi’s bus, chanting pro-Modi slogans. Facing the crowd, Rahul Gandhi waved and greeted everyone before voluntarily stepping out of the bus. Amidst the incident, security personnel advised him to reboard the bus. Earlier, BJP supporters allegedly damaged Congress leader Jairam Ramesh’s vehicle during the same march.

Rahul Gandhi stated, “We are not afraid of anyone,” recounting an incident where BJP activists reportedly confronted the bus. He emphasized that Congress is not intimidated by BJP or RSS, expressing confidence and dismissing any concerns about posters being torn. Meanwhile, Jairam Ramesh claimed an attack on his car by BJP “goons” during the Bharat Jodo Yatra in Sonitpur district.

In a related incident, BJP supporters are accused of tearing stickers from vehicles in Jairam Ramesh’s convoy. The situation escalated to physical altercations involving media personnel accompanying the Justice March.
