Ayodhya Ram Mandir: From L&T to Havells, 7 listed Indian companies in spotlight

As Ayodhya undergoes an Rs 85,000 crore transformation into a global spiritual tourism hub, the Ram Mandir project is set to draw 5 crore tourists annually. The economic and religious migration surge is poised to benefit sectors such as hotels, airlines, hospitality, FMCG, travel ancillaries, and cement.

1) Larsen and Toubro (L&T): The construction giant is leading the design and construction of the Ram Mandir, using innovative engineering that excludes corrosive metals. L&T shares have risen by 3% this month.

2) Havells India: Providing exquisite indoor lighting products to enhance the temple’s aesthetic appeal, Havells’ shares have experienced a slight dip of 2% in January.

3) Pakka: Partnered with the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, Pakka supplies compostable plates, bowls, and spoons for the temple premises. The stock has surged by 45% this month.

4) SIS Ltd: This private security group has signed an agreement with the Ram Mandir Trust to deploy personnel for devotee assistance and overall security. SIS shares have rallied by 11% in January.

5) Allied Digital Services: Selected as the Master System Integrator for the Ayodhya Smart City Project, ADSL is establishing a multi-location CCTV surveillance system. The stock has seen a remarkable increase of 44% this month.

6) Genesys International: Chosen as the official map provider for Ayodhya city, Genesys’ mapping technology offers a cutting-edge 2D navigation and 3D digital twin experience. The smallcap stock is up by 8% this month.

7) Apollo Sindoori Hotels: Contributing to infrastructure, Apollo Sindoori Hotels is constructing a multi-level parking facility in Ayodhya. The stock has witnessed a substantial rally of around 48% in January.

As these listed Indian companies play pivotal roles in the Ayodhya and Ram Mandir project, they showcase diverse contributions in construction, lighting, compostable products, security, surveillance, mapping technology, and parking facilities. The temple town’s evolution into a global spiritual destination is not only shaping its cultural landscape but also proving to be a significant economic catalyst for these enterprises.
