In a strategic endeavor to bolster air connectivity and accommodate the surge of pilgrims, the Ministry of Civil Aviation is poised to launch eight new flight routes connecting Ayodhya with key cities. The initiation of these routes, scheduled for February 1, 2024, signifies a crucial development in providing easier access to Ayodhya from Delhi, Chennai, Ahmedabad, Jaipur, Patna, Darbhanga, Mumbai, and Bengaluru.

This decision comes on the heels of the recent Pran Pratishtha ceremony at the Ram Temple in Ayodhya, which not only elevated the city’s tourism potential but also set the stage for robust economic and social advancements.

The inauguration of these flight services, set to be operated by SpiceJet, will be officiated by Union Minister of Civil Aviation and Steel, Jyotiraditya Scindia. The expansion aims to address the growing influx of devotees since the consecration ceremony of the Ram Temple on January 22, presided over by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

During the ceremony, Prime Minister Modi performed the last Vedic rituals, symbolically opening the eyes of the Ram Lalla idol and concluding with aarti and shashtang pranam. The 51-inch idol adorned with a golden crown and ornaments, carrying a golden bow and arrow, has attracted a massive influx of devotees from various corners of India and beyond.

With SpiceJet set to operate these new routes, Ayodhya’s air connectivity is expected to play a pivotal role in fostering tourism and contributing to the overall development of the city. Keep abreast of the latest updates on this significant development.
