Lucknow, Suresh Khanna, the Finance Minister of Uttar Pradesh, presented the budget for the fiscal year 2024-25 in the assembly on Monday. The record-breaking budget for this year amounts to ₹7.36 trillion, surpassing the previous fiscal year’s budget of ₹6.90 trillion. During his budget speech, Minister Khanna emphasized that the state’s governance is influenced by the ideals of Ram Rajya, and Uttar Pradesh is making strides in social, cultural, economic, and spiritual development.

He highlighted the significant boost to the social and cultural sectors due to the construction of the grand temple of Lord Ram in Ayodhya. This development has turned Ayodhya into a major global tourism center, witnessing a substantial increase in both domestic and international tourists. Minister Khanna expressed optimism that this growth in tourism will contribute significantly to the economic prosperity of the state.
