In the next 48 hours, there is a possibility of a brisk wind at a speed of 20-30 kilometers per hour in Patna, Bihar, accompanied by gusts reaching up to 40 kilometers per hour. The state is expected to experience a slight decrease and increase in the minimum and maximum temperatures, respectively, over the next three days. Consequently, residents may feel relatively cooler temperatures during both day and night due to cyclonic circulation and active western disturbance in Jammu and Punjab.

According to IMD forecasts, South-West and South-Central Bihar may witness light rainfall on February 11 and 12. Tuesday saw temperatures in the state registering a maximum below normal and a minimum above normal. Patna and Gaya recorded temperatures four degrees Celsius higher than the average maximum, while the minimum temperatures remained four degrees Celsius lower than the usual. Maximum temperatures in Purnia and Bhagalpur were three degrees Celsius below average, with Purnia experiencing a six-degree Celsius increase in minimum temperature. This resulted in a slightly cooler daytime in both Southern and Northern Bihar.

A three-degree drop in temperature was observed on Tuesday compared to the previous day, while the minimum temperature increased. The maximum temperature in Madhubani on Tuesday was 25.7 degrees Celsius, and the minimum temperature in Kishanganj was recorded at 11 degrees Celsius, according to IMD reports.

Meanwhile, the weather is expected to remain dry in the Northern Bihar districts with scattered clouds for the next five days. The weather department’s forecast until February 11 indicates a likelihood of normal weather conditions during this period. The maximum temperature is expected to range between 22 to 24 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature may vary between 11 to 14 degrees Celsius. Additionally, a light breeze at a speed of three to five kilometers per hour is anticipated. The maximum temperature on Tuesday was recorded at 21.3 degrees Celsius, with a minimum temperature of 14.1 degrees Celsius.
