Prime Minister Modi unveils vision for ‘Modi 3.0’ over the next five years

In a significant address on Wednesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi outlined the roadmap for his government’s third consecutive term, often referred to as ‘Modi 3.0.’ Expressing confidence in the transformation of India into a developed nation, the Prime Minister detailed key focus areas for the next five years.

The Prime Minister envisions the country witnessing a paradigm shift in various sectors, targeting the upliftment of the poor, youth, middle class, farmers, and achieving energy self-sufficiency. The overarching goal is to propel India toward the status of a ‘Golden Era’ by 2047.

Key Highlights:

1. Education Transformation:

– Aim to elevate Indian universities to global standards, ensuring affordability for students and financial relief for families.

– Pledge to eliminate any competition where the Indian flag doesn’t fly, emphasizing global recognition of the nation’s youth power.

2. Transportation Revolution:

– Overhaul of the transportation system with the introduction of high-speed bullet trains.

– Expansion of Vande Bharat trains, reflecting a surge in railway infrastructure.

3. Energy Independence:

– Accelerated efforts to meet the nation’s energy needs, with an emphasis on solar power.

– Citizens encouraged to generate income by producing electricity at home.

4. Agricultural Innovation:

– Integration of drone technology and nanotechnology in agriculture.

– Assurance of the continuation of the honorarium for farmers under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme.

5. Housing for All:

– Promise to provide concrete houses under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana.

– Assurance that no family will be deprived of this benefit, addressing homelessness.

6. Clean Energy Initiatives:

– Commitment to zero electricity bills through solar energy over the next five years.

– Ambitious plans for piped gas networks across the country.

7. Healthcare Accessibility:

– Increase in the number of doctors and medical colleges.

– Focus on making healthcare affordable and accessible for all citizens.

– Continuation of the Ayushman Bharat scheme, providing a ₹5 lakh insurance cover to the economically vulnerable.

8. Water and Sanitation Programs:

– Continuation of the Nal Se Jal Yojana and efforts to build toilets across the country.

– A speedy execution of development projects aligned with the government’s vision.

Prime Minister Modi assured the nation that these initiatives would be implemented rapidly, emphasizing the unwavering commitment to the direction of development the government has undertaken.
