A descendant of German royalty has posed for Playboy, and it appears she is the first member with ties to any aristocracy to do so.
Xenia Florence Gabriela Sophie Iris, the Princess of Saxony, appears on the cover of the March 2024 German edition of the adult magazine.
And she thinks her great-great-great-grandfather Frederick Augustus III, the last king of Saxony, “would have definitely approved.”
The longtime reality TV personality, who stars in B:Real – Real Celebrities, Real Life, says she is proud about the way her body looks.
“You don’t have to conform to trends or have surgery on your body just to please someone,” the 37-year-old German royal told the magazine, according to a translation published by the New York Post‘s Page Six.
“I have stretch marks and I’m proud to show them.”
The cover shows her with a white sheet draped across half her body while the other side is completely bare.
Inside, she is seen completely topless by a luxurious pool, while another snapshot shows her in a white bodysuit with the top pulled down.
Xenia thinks her regal relative, who died in 1932, would have been happy with the idea of her posing nude.
“He was described to me as very humorous and loving,” she said. “So he would definitely have approved of it.”
The reality star, who also appeared in the BBC Three’s Undercover Princess, added that as long as she is healthy, she is happy with the way she looks.
“I like my body best when it works and I’m pain-free,” she said. “I’ve never determined how well I like myself based on my appearance.”
