Rajya Sabha polls: BJP announces candidates – Sudhanshu Trivedi from UP, Bhim Singh from Bihar

In preparation for the upcoming Rajya Sabha elections, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has officially declared its candidates from Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Haryana, Karnataka, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, and West Bengal. Sudhanshu Trivedi and R.P.N. Singh have been named as BJP’s candidates from Uttar Pradesh, while Subhash Barala, former chief of Haryana BJP, has been announced as the party’s candidate from Haryana.

List of BJP Candidates:

Bihar:
1. Dr. Dharmshila Gupta
2. Dr. Bhim Singh

Chhattisgarh:
1. Raja Devendra Pratap Singh

Haryana:
1. Subhash Barala

Karnataka:
1. Narayan Krishna Sa Bhandage

Uttar Pradesh:
1. R.P.N. Singh
2. Dr. Sudhanshu Trivedi
3. Chaudhary Tejveer Singh
4. Sadhna Singh
5. Amar Pal Maurya
6. Sangeeta Balwant
7. Navin Jain

Uttarakhand:
1. Mahendra Bhatt

West Bengal:
1. Samik Bhattacharya

 

In a parallel development, the Trinamool Congress (TMC) has announced its candidates for the Rajya Sabha elections. Sagarika Ghose and Sushmita Dev, along with Mohammad Nadimul Haque and Mamata Thakur, have been named as TMC’s candidates. TMC expressed optimism for its candidates and hoped that they would diligently work to uphold the rights of every Indian.

This announcement comes as political parties gear up for the upcoming Rajya Sabha elections, with both the BJP and TMC strategically positioning their candidates for a robust representation in the upper house.
