After the separation of Jharkhand, Bihar was often referred to as a region left with only sand. However, the scenario has drastically changed, with significant industrial development taking place in the state. Big industries are setting up operations, attracting industrialists from other states. The industrial sector in Muzaffarpur, particularly in the Bela area, is rapidly advancing as a textile hub.

While other states witness large companies continuously establishing units in the industrial sector, existing textile companies in Muzaffarpur are expanding their footprint. Muzaffarpur’s industrial sector has emerged as a model in the state, leading to potential investors exploring the bag and textile clusters during visits to Patna.

Ludhiana-based Textile Company Expresses Interest in Investment

According to sources in Bhadohi, a branded textile company from Ludhiana has been in contact with officials from Patna to Muzaffarpur, expressing interest in establishing an industry in the region. The company’s team recently assessed the Bhadohi industrial sector, indicating optimism for successful outcomes in the near future. The company specializes in producing garments for both men and women.

Gujarat Company Submits Application for Project in Bhadohi

In a similar vein, a textile company from Gujarat has completed all paperwork formalities with Bhadohi authorities. The company plans to invest in a substantial project and has been allocated 25 acres of land for establishing a unit. This move not only enhances employment prospects but also highlights the conducive investment environment in Bihar, with skilled labor readily available and a thriving market.

Expansion of Textile Units in Bhadohi Industrial Sector

Bhadohi’s industrial sector already hosts ten operational textile units, with one particularly excelling in the production of women’s clothing. Using 100% capacity in a short period, this company has garnered praise from the industry department. Two garment-related companies have proposed the allocation of half a dozen sheds to further expand their presence, initiating the paperwork process.
