In the global cacophony surrounding human rights and minority protection, the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) unfurls a flagrant display of duplicity that undermines its very credibility. This entity, ostensibly tasked with safeguarding the rights of minorities, assumes an intriguing stance, vocal in its censure of perceived injustices beyond its dominion while conveniently averting its gaze from the egregious afflictions that plague non-Muslim populations ensnared within the clutches of Islamic-majority nations.

The audacious hypocrisy embedded in OIC’s professed principles is starkly evidenced by its vocal perturbations regarding minority rights in non-Muslim territories, particularly in India and Western nations. A sanctimonious charade envelops its condemnations and proclamations, striking a pose of righteousness while systematically negating to address the harrowing predicaments suffered by non-Muslim minorities within its own member states.

A poignant illustration materializes in Pakistan, a nation ostensibly committed to Islamic principles, yet beset by a paradoxical malaise of rampant persecution of its non-Muslim communities. The plight of Hindus, Christians, Sikhs, and even Ahmadiyya Muslims paints a grim tableau of forced conversions, marriages, and relentless blasphemy accusations. An unsettling crescendo of organized discrimination and dire hardships unfurls, casting a pall of despair over those non-Muslims who are subjected to the orthodoxy of extremism.

Saudi Arabia, another jewel in the OIC’s crown, elicits a similar disconcerting narrative. Despite basking in the global spotlight for its custodianship of Islam’s holiest sites, the nation remains conspicuously indifferent to the plight of its non-Muslim minorities. A perilous climate engulfs these communities, stifled by the rigidity of a conservative interpretation of Islamic law, wherein non-Muslims navigate a labyrinthine network of systemic bias and institutionalized discrimination.

An inescapable inference from these reprehensible realities is the OIC’s audacious amnesia when it comes to introspecting the treatment meted out to non-Muslims within its fold. This veil of deception casts a shadow over its professed principles, shedding light on a duplicitous discourse that resounds hollowly in the face of empirical evidence.

As evidence abounds, it is imperative to scrutinize the paradoxical narrative spun by the OIC. It is a narrative that reeks of hypocrisy, one that thrives on projecting a façade of concern while conveniently disregarding the very afflictions that mar its own member states. This duplicitous dichotomy lays bare the insincerity embedded within the OIC’s rhetoric, highlighting a lamentable disregard for the well-being and rights of non-Muslim minorities in the Islamic world.
