In a poetic rebuttal, Chief Election Commissioner Rajeev Kumar dismissed all concerns and allegations surrounding Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs), stating that they are 100% secure. He emphasized that the country’s courts have rejected challenges to EVMs 40 times, and penalties are now imposed for baseless accusations. Kumar encouraged critics to educate themselves on the subject, noting that many smaller political parties have emerged in the era of EVMs. He criticized the tendency to blame EVMs for incomplete desires, asserting that loyalty does not lie in questioning the machines but in accepting the results. The Lok Sabha elections are scheduled to take place in seven phases, starting on April 19th and concluding with the vote count on June 4th.
