On Wednesday, Pawan Singh revealed on social media that he will contest the election from the Karakat constituency. Prior to this, he had declined to contest from Asansol. Pawan Singh was offered a ticket by the BJP from Asansol. However, he returned the BJP ticket and announced that he would not contest from Asansol.

After returning the BJP ticket, Pawan Singh posted on social media, stating that he would fulfill his promise to his society, the public, and his mother by contesting the election. However, during this time, he did not disclose from which constituency he would contest. Now, on Wednesday, Pawan Singh made a post on social media announcing that he will contest the election from Karakat.

It is noteworthy that Upendra Kushwaha is the candidate from the NDA for the Karakat Lok Sabha constituency. Meanwhile, the India Alliance has once again fielded Rajaram Singh of the BSP. Now, with Pawan Singh also contesting from this seat, the competition here could become triangular.
