PM Modi lamented the alleged corruption under the TMC regime, stating that it has resulted in the loss of happiness for over 26,000 families in Bengal. Modi accused the TMC of betraying the trust of the people, especially women, by opposing measures such as the abolition of triple talaq. He also accused the TMC leadership of colluding with ministers and bureaucrats to siphon off funds meant for development.
