The momentum in Bihar’s electoral landscape has intensified as the state gears up for the third phase of voting. Both the NDA and India alliances have deployed their top leaders for vigorous campaigning ahead of the crucial phase. While Prime Minister Narendra Modi is slated to address a rally in Darbhanga on May 4th, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar will embark on a three-day camp in Madhepura from April 29th.

Election Schedule and Campaign Highlights:

In the third phase, constituencies including Jhanjharpur, Supaul, Araria, Madhepura, and Khagaria will go to polls on May 7, while campaigning will continue until the evening of May 5th. Furthermore, the fourth phase will witness voting in Darbhanga, Ujiyarpur, Samastipur, Begusarai, and Munger, with polling scheduled for May 13th and campaigning until May 11th.

Key Campaign Events:

– Home Minister Amit Shah’s rallies in Jhanjharpur and Begusarai on April 29th.

Opposition’s Campaign Efforts:

Tejashwi Yadav’s Campaign Strategy:

Tejashwi Yadav, leader of the opposition alliance, is conducting extensive campaigning across various constituencies. He, along with VIP Chief Mukesh Sahni, is addressing multiple rallies daily, focusing on Madhepura and Saharsa districts.

Electoral Contests:

In the third phase, key contests include Ramprit Mandal (NDA) vs. Dileshwar Kamat (JDU) in Jhanjharpur, Dinesh Chand Yadav (JDU) vs. Ramprit Paswan (LJP) in Supaul, and Dinesh Chandra Yadav (JDU) vs. Dinesh Singh (BJP) in Madhepura.
