A bridge worth 12 crore rupees, under construction over the Bakra River in Bihar, has collapsed. Local villagers and BJP MLA have claimed that if the piling work had been done correctly, three to four pillars of the Padariya bridge would not have sunk into the river.
The villagers alleged that if departmental officials had not turned a blind eye to the contractor’s negligence, the Padariya bridge, which was awaited for years to connect Sikhati block and Kursakanta block, would not have collapsed before its inauguration. Watch the video for more details.
