In a conspicuous prelude to the impending Lok Sabha elections, the Union Home Minister, Mr. Amit Shah, is poised to embark on his sixth visit to the state of Bihar within a year. Scheduled for September 16, this forthcoming visit to Jhanjharpur in the Madhubani district is meticulously orchestrated under the aegis of the ‘Lok Sabha Pravas’ Program. This strategic excursion is evidently devised to pave the way for the electoral proceedings slated for 2024.
Mr. Shah’s forthcoming visit, conducted as part of the ‘Lok Sabha Pravas Programme,’ will encompass the delivery of resounding addresses at substantial public gatherings in Jhanjharpur. These addresses are meticulously designed to underscore the accomplishments of the Narendra Modi-led government during its nine-year tenure. Furthermore, the inauguration of the Integrated Check Post (ICP) on the Indo-Nepal border at Jogbani is anticipated as a pivotal event during this visit.
Notably, Union Home Minister Amit Shah is also slated to preside over a meeting of the Lok Sabha Core Committee, which is poised to convene in the presence of Bihar BJP’s upper echelons, including State BJP President Samrat Choudhary and Minister of State for Home Affairs, Mr. Nityanand Rai, alongside district Party Presidents.
In addition to these engagements, Mr. Shah is scheduled to inaugurate the headquarters of the Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), located at a distance of 8 kilometers from Jogbani.
