In a sweeping denunciation of the Opposition coalition known as the Indian National Developmental, Inclusive Alliance (INDIA), Prime Minister Narendra Modi has voiced concerns over what he describes as a concealed motive to undermine Sanatana Dharma and erode India’s cultural fabric.

Addressing a sizable audience in Bina, Madhya Pradesh, PM Modi dissected the controversy surrounding Tamil Nadu Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin’s remarks on Sanatana Dharma. He underscored that the INDIA alliance harbors a “hidden agenda” aimed at challenging and ultimately extinguishing the Sanatana Dharma heritage.

PM Modi launched a relentless verbal assault on the INDIA alliance, characterizing it as an “INDI alliance” without a discernible leader. He pointed out that, at a time when India is gaining global prominence, some political factions seek to sow divisions within the nation. These factions, under the guise of the “INDI alliance,” lack a clear leader, adding an element of suspense regarding their leadership in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. PM Modi contends that their underlying agenda revolves around attacking India’s deeply rooted culture.

Furthermore, PM Modi alleged that in the alliance’s third meeting, they adopted a resolution with the intent to “eradicate” the Sanatana culture. He emphasized that these factions are determined to dismantle the ideologies, traditions, and cultural heritage that have united the country and its people for centuries.

PM Modi’s stern comments come in response to Udhayanidhi Stalin’s recent assertion that Sanatana Dharma is incompatible with the concept of social justice and should be eliminated. Stalin’s statement likened Sanatana Dharma to diseases like malaria and dengue, suggesting that it should be eradicated rather than opposed.

During his visit to Bina, PM Modi inaugurated several projects totaling more than ₹50,700 crores, including the ‘Petrochemical Complex’ at Bina Refinery and ten new industrial initiatives across Madhya Pradesh.

These projects encompass a ‘Power and Renewable Energy Manufacturing Zone’ in Narmadapuram district, two IT parks in Indore, a Mega Industrial Park in Ratlam, and six additional industrial zones throughout the state.
