In a resolute proclamation, Union Home Minister Amit Shah confidently declared that the NDA (National Democratic Alliance) is poised to clinch all 40 Lok Sabha seats in the upcoming 2024 general elections in Bihar. Speaking at a fervent rally in Bihar’s Madhubani district, Shah recounted the NDA’s previous electoral triumph, securing a remarkable 39 seats in Bihar during the 2019 elections. He expressed an unyielding determination to surpass past achievements, vowing to “break all records” by securing victory in every constituency in the forthcoming polls.

Shah took the opportunity to address the prevailing law and order concerns in Bihar, asserting that the presence of what he termed an “opportunistic alliance” would exacerbate the situation. He conveyed concerns about security issues, stating that “The law and order situation in Bihar is deteriorating every day.”

The Home Minister further delved into the intricacies of Bihar’s political landscape, likening the alliance between Nitish Kumar’s Janata Dal United (JDU) and Lalu Prasad Yadav’s Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) to a mixture of “oil and water,” implying an inherent incompatibility between the two parties. Shah criticized this alliance for their opposition to the construction of the Ram temple and their reluctance to support the abrogation of Article 370 in Kashmir.

Shah also speculated on the ambitions of the leaders within the alliance, suggesting that Lalu Prasad seeks to propel his son to the position of Chief Minister while Nitish Kumar harbors aspirations of becoming the Prime Minister. He concluded by asserting that these aspirations would remain unfulfilled, confidently predicting that “Modiji will become PM in 2024.”

The Home Minister also attributed the inclusion of the African Union in the G20 to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s diplomatic endeavors.

This resounding assertion by Amit Shah at the rally paints a vivid picture of the political landscape in Bihar as the nation anticipates the upcoming general elections in 2024.
