New Delhi– In a prelude to the upcoming special parliamentary session, Prime Minister Narendra Modi extended his congratulations to the nation, acknowledging the triumphs of Chandrayaan-3 and the successful G20 summit. With profound sentiments, he shared ten eloquent insights:

1. “This hallowed parliament edifice stands as a testament to the unwavering dedication, hard work, and financial contributions of our citizens.”

2. “While we transition to a new parliamentary complex, this venerable structure will forever serve as an enduring source of inspiration for future generations.”

3. “This moment in the saga of Indian democracy marks a significant chapter, offering the world a glimpse of our democratic spirit.”

4. “India’s achievements, epitomized by the success of Chandrayaan-2, have resounded globally, underscoring our nation’s capabilities. Parliament joins in celebrating our scientists.”

5. “The success of the G20 summit is not attributed to any individual or political entity but is, instead, a triumph for the 1.4 billion-strong Indian populace.”

6. “I had never envisaged that our nation would bestow upon me such immense respect and attention.”

7. “Despite engaging in spirited debates and weathering criticisms, the power of this august Parliament fosters a familial bond among its members. We hold no grudges.”

8. “In the face of adversity, Members of Parliament have displayed exceptional commitment by fulfilling their roles as elected representatives. Some arrived on wheelchairs, with medical professionals waiting outside. Even amidst the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, we convened and discharged our duties.”

9. “From the era of Rajendra Prasad to Ram Nath Kovind, from Droupadi Murmu to Jawaharlal Nehru, Lal Bahadur Shastri, Atal Bihari Vajpayee, and Manmohan Singh, this Parliament has been a guiding light for our nation.”

10. “This occasion also warrants a solemn remembrance of those who made the ultimate sacrifice while protecting this august institution during the harrowing terrorist attack.”

This reflection by Prime Minister Modi serves as a poignant reminder of the resilience of India’s parliamentary legacy as the special session approaches.
