The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) is anticipated to unveil the results of the Bihar Teacher Recruitment Exam 2023 by mid-October, as confirmed by Atul Prasad, Chairman of BPSC.

The Bihar Teacher Recruitment Exam 2023 (Bihar TRE 2023) encompassed the evaluation of Trained Graduate Teachers (TGT), Post Graduate Teachers (PGT), and Primary Teachers. The examination took place from August 24 to 26, 2023, and candidates who participated have been eagerly awaiting news about the BPSC TRE Result 2023.

Atul Prasad explained that the delay in announcing the results is attributable to several factors, including pending Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) results and discrepancies in candidates’ Optical Mark Recognition (OMR) sheets. He stated, “TRE results are now likely by mid-Oct. This slight delay is due to pending results of CTET, etc., several instances of mistakes committed by candidates in their OMRs like wrong roll number, wrong series, wrong subject combinations, and also due to the wrong submission of certificates.”

Furthermore, in a significant development, BPSC and the Bihar Education Department jointly decided to restrict the recruitment of B.Ed pass candidates for teaching positions. Only individuals holding a Diploma in Elementary Education (DElEd) will be considered for Primary Level (Class 1 to 5) school teacher positions.
