The International Cricket Council (ICC) has unveiled the official anthem for the upcoming ICC Cricket World Cup 2023, titled “Dil Jashn Bole.” This momentous release aims to unite cricket enthusiasts worldwide as teams from diverse nations gear up to compete for the coveted ICC Cricket World Cup trophy.
The anthem features the renowned Bollywood actor, Ranveer Singh, and boasts composition by the illustrious Indian music director, Pritam Chakraborty. It is anticipated to be a rallying cry for fans across borders, igniting their fervor for the sport.
However, initial reactions from cricket aficionados have been mixed, with some drawing comparisons to the 2011 World Cup anthem, “De Ghumke.”
Commencing on October 5, the 2023 ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup will kick off with the defending champions, England, squaring off against New Zealand at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, India.
Matches during the day will commence at 10:30 AM Indian Standard Time (IST), while day-night fixtures are scheduled for 2:PM IST.
Furthermore, the venue for India’s semi-final matches, should they qualify, is set to be Mumbai unless they face Pakistan, in which case the clash will be held in Kolkata.
