In a significant development for the world of cricket, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has forged a strategic alliance with the esteemed insurance entity, SBI Life. This triumphant partnership, spanning three years, encompasses both the domestic and international cricketing calendar from 2023 to 2026.

This historic agreement will officially kick off with the much-anticipated India-Australia One-Day International (ODI) series commencing on September 22, 2023. The timing of this collaboration couldn’t be more perfect, coinciding with the imminent ICC ODI World Cup 2023.

Honorary Secretary of the BCCI, Mr. Jay Shah, expressed his enthusiasm regarding this synergistic venture, stating, “We are delighted to welcome SBI Life on board as an Official Partner for BCCI’s Domestic and International Season. SBI Life’s unwavering commitment to excellence resonates harmoniously with BCCI’s overarching vision for the future of cricket. We eagerly anticipate a fruitful partnership that promises to elevate the cricketing experience for both fans and players alike.”

BCCI President, Mr. Roger Binny, echoed these sentiments, emphasizing the intent to “build a solid partnership” with SBI Life to further propel Indian cricket forward. He affirmed, “We are thrilled to announce our partnership with SBI Life as the official partner of BCCI for both domestic and international cricket. SBI Life has been a beacon of excellence within the insurance sector, and we are poised to forge a formidable alliance that will steer Indian cricket to greater heights.”

As the cricketing world eagerly awaits the India-Australia ODI series set to begin on September 22, cricket enthusiasts and stakeholders are equally excited about the prospects this union between BCCI and SBI Life holds. The partnership promises to inject fresh energy and resources into the sport, enriching the experiences of players and fans alike.

In this exciting cricketing chapter, BCCI envisions a harmonious symphony of talent and commitment with SBI Life, ensuring that Indian cricket continues to shine on the world stage.
