In a recent announcement, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has unveiled the examination dates for the UGC NET December 2023 cycle. The much-awaited UGC NET December 2023 exams are scheduled to take place from December 6 to December 22, 2023. For comprehensive details, aspirants are encouraged to visit the official NTA website at www.nta.ac.in or the dedicated UGC NET portal at ugcnet.nta.nic.in.

UGC-NET, an examination of paramount importance, is conducted semi-annually in the months of June and December. This examination serves as the yardstick for assessing the eligibility of Indian nationals to pursue a career as an ‘Assistant Professor’ or to embark on a ‘Junior Research Fellowship and Assistant Professor’ journey in Indian Universities and Colleges.

UGC NET June 2023, held earlier this year, was a two-phased affair, spanning from June 13 to 17 and June 19 to 22, 2023. Following the examination, the provisional answer key was promptly released on July 6. Remarkably, the examination covered a staggering 83 subjects and spanned 181 cities nationwide.

Moreover, NTA made an additional announcement today, divulging the exam schedule for UGC-NET Session I. The Session I exam, set to be administered in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode, is slated to occur between June 10 and June 21, 2024.

This development marks a significant milestone for aspirants seeking academic and research pursuits, underlining the continued commitment of NTA to conduct these critical examinations.
