New Delhi – The eagerly awaited iPhone 15 series is poised for its grand unveiling tonight at Apple’s much-anticipated Wonderlust event. While the tech world eagerly anticipates the latest features and innovations, there is equal intrigue surrounding the price points of these forthcoming devices. The official pricing will be officially disclosed during Apple’s event on September 12, but leaks have provided a glimpse of what consumers might expect. Let’s delve into these rumored price points.

Standard iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus: The standard iPhone 15 and its Plus counterpart may either retain their current prices or witness a modest increase. If Apple adheres to its existing pricing strategy, the iPhone 15 could be available at its familiar starting price of INR 79,900. While leaks suggest that the company may opt to launch the new standard models at their previous price, this information is not yet official, and therefore, should be taken with a degree of caution. The iPhone 15 Plus, by this speculation, might maintain its price tag of INR 89,900.

iPhone 15 Pro: In contrast, the iPhone 15 Pro is rumored to receive a substantial price adjustment. Reports indicate a potential $100 price increase for the Pro model, which would bring it to $1,099 (approximately INR 91,200) from its prior price of $999 (around INR 82,900). However, it’s crucial to note that Apple typically introduces its products in India at a higher price point than in the United States, due to factors such as customs fees and market dynamics. For context, the iPhone 14 Pro was launched in the US at $999 (roughly INR 82,900) but retailed in India for INR 1,29,900, highlighting the price differential between the two markets. Leaks suggest that the new iPhone 15 Pro in India might be introduced at INR 1,39,900.

iPhone 15 Pro Max: Speculation also surrounds the iPhone 15 Pro Max, which could reportedly be priced at $1,299, up from last year’s $1,099. Following Apple’s pricing trends and currency conversion practices, the new Pro Max model could potentially debut in India at INR 1,59,900. To provide context, the iPhone 14 Pro Max was launched at INR 1,39,900. Presently, it remains unclear whether the India prices for both Pro models will mirror those of the previous year or potentially exceed them.

As the curtain lifts on Apple’s Wonderlust event, the world awaits not only the technological innovations of the iPhone 15 series but also the official confirmation of their pricing strategy in India.
