Patna: Sudha, the well-known dairy brand in Bihar, has made significant adjustments to the prices of its products, including Sudha Shakti Milk. The Patna Dairy Project’s director has issued an order regarding modifications in milk prices, effective from February. Prior to this, Sudha Shakti Milk saw an increase of three rupees.
One Rupee Increase in Sudha Shakti Milk Prices
According to the information received, Sudha Shakti Milk’s price has been raised from 54 to 55 rupees per liter. The price of Sudha Gold Milk remains unchanged. Sudha Healthy and Sudha Cow Milk prices also remain consistent. This means that, apart from Sudha Shakti, there has been no increase in the prices of any other milk.
Changes in Lassi and Sweetened Yogurt Prices and Quantities
Furthermore, there have been reductions in both the weight and price of Lassi. The plain Lassi pack will now contain 140ml instead of 150ml, with a reduced price of two rupees. Sudha Plain Lassi will be available at 10 rupees instead of 12 rupees. Additionally, 80 grams of sweetened yogurt will now cost 10 rupees instead of 12 rupees.
Increase in Distributor and Retailer Margin
Sudha Dairy reports an increase in the margin for distributors and retailers. Previously, retailers saved 30 rupees on selling one kilogram of ghee, but now they will save 45 rupees. The price of Sudha Ghee Poly Pack Pouch is set at 630 rupees per liter, while the 500ml ghee is priced at 315 rupees.
These changes in prices and margins come into effect as Sudha strives to maintain quality products and meet market demands. The dairy brand continues to be a significant player in Bihar’s dairy industry, offering a variety of products to its consumers.
