In a significant shift, Infosys employees are now required to work from the office at least three days a week, according to a report by Economic Times. Expressing dissatisfaction with the response to return-to-office appeals, the company’s top management sent an email emphasizing the three-year work-from-home arrangement post-Covid is sufficient. The directive, effective shortly, states regular office attendance is expected, with exceptions for medical reasons.

The management has voiced concerns about underutilized delivery units (DUs) and aims for immediate attendance at campuses housing offshore development centers (ODCs) for clients. Health-related requests will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Additionally, charges for bus services and health club facilities are set to be reinstated from January 2024. Before the pandemic, eligible employees could work from home for nine days each month.
