In a resounding tribute to India’s stellar lunar achievements, Prime Minister Narendra Modi hailed the success of Chandrayaan-3 as a moment of unparalleled national pride. The esteemed leader christened the landing site “Shiv Shakti Point” and praised it as a novel source of inspiration, solidifying India’s prowess in science and technology.

PM Modi, addressing the nation before the commencement of the Special Session of Parliament, emphasized the global significance of such a feat, underscoring the association of such accomplishments with modernity, science, and technology. He alluded to the vast opportunities and prospects that unfold when a nation showcases such capabilities to the world.

India etched its name in the annals of space exploration history by executing a flawless lunar landing on the Moon’s southern pole with the Chandrayaan-3 mission in August. This remarkable feat positions India among an elite group, including the United States, China, and Russia, as one of the select few nations to accomplish this feat.

The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) reported that the Vikram Lander exceeded its mission objectives, successfully conducting a hop experiment. With precision, it engaged its engines, elevating itself by approximately 40 cm as anticipated, ultimately touching down safely just 30 to 40 cm from its intended landing spot.

Prime Minister Modi is scheduled to address the Lok Sabha at 11 AM on September 18, marking the inauguration of the five-day Special Session of Parliament. The session’s agenda includes the consideration of around eight bills and a reflection on Parliament’s 75-year journey. These deliberations will take place within the confines of the newly constructed Parliament building.

Adding an air of intrigue, Member of Parliament Sanjay Singh revealed that all parliamentarians have received notices regarding the imminent photography of their sessions. This development has sparked speculation that this special session might herald the announcement of Lok Sabha elections.

In anticipation of the unfolding events, the government has remained tight-lipped about the agenda for this extraordinary session, further heightening expectations of a significant political announcement.
