“May the Congress party not waste more energy and stationery on me. Instead, utilize whatever little energy and stationery is left to save the party. Moreover, the party is going through severe financial crisis. The one-week deadline I gave is now over. Tomorrow, I will make the decision myself.”
Why Congress Took Action Against Sanjay Nirupam
The Maharashtra Congress has finally taken action against veteran leader Sanjay Nirupam. Nirupam had decided to contest the elections from the Mumbai North-West constituency, but the Shiv Sena (UBT) fielded its own candidate here, sparking tension.
