Celebrating Salman Khan’s 58th birthday, filmmaker Karan Johar took a nostalgic journey back to their iconic collaboration in the movie ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai.’ In a heartfelt note, Johar shared insights into how Salman became part of the film despite initial rejections from other actors.

In the 25th-anniversary post, Karan Johar expressed his gratitude to Salman Khan for being the perfect Aman in ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai,’ recounting the fascinating story of how Salman joined the project. The post revealed the deep connection and goodwill between Johar’s family and Salman, making the casting a reality.

In the film, Salman Khan portrayed the character Aman, a pivotal role in the second half of the narrative. Despite limited screen time, Salman’s contribution to the storyline was significant, showcasing his camaraderie with co-stars Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol, and Rani Mukerji.

Karan Johar reminisced about the time when Salman graciously accepted the role without even hearing the narration. Salman’s sister, Alvira, had spoken highly of Johar’s script, prompting Salman to join the film out of respect for his sister and the goodwill shared with Johar’s family.

Expressing his gratitude, Karan Johar mentioned, “I am deeply grateful to Alvira and my father’s goodwill for making sure I had the perfect Aman and Salman Khan in my debut film! Gestures and stories like this just don’t happen today! Happy birthday Salman! So much love and respect for you always. Also, 25 years later, we will finally have a story to tell again… not saying any more than that happy happy birthday.”

Meanwhile, Salman Khan celebrated his birthday with friends and family in Mumbai, creating memorable moments at the joyous gathering attended by Bollywood celebrities.
