Delhi, As the year 2023 draws to a close and the world eagerly awaits the dawn of 2024, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) is gearing up for a breathtaking New Year’s Eve celebration. The iconic Burj Khalifa, the world’s tallest building, is set to illuminate the night sky with a dazzling display of fireworks, LED shows, and waterworks.

In preparation for the grand event, Dubai Media Office provided a sneak peek into the extensive ten months of planning behind the New Year announcement at Burj Khalifa. The spectacle, shared on their official Twitter handle, promises 15,682 pyrotechnics launched from 365 strategic firing positions, over 2,800 unique locations, and a spectacular display of 22,000 gallons of water fired into the air.

The festivities are set to captivate audiences around the globe, with a symphony of light, sound, and waterworks making the New Year celebrations truly remarkable.

Ahead of the celebrations, Dubai Police have initiated road closures around Downtown Dubai from 4 PM for security reasons. While tickets to witness the show in person have been sold out online, the grand event will be live-streamed on EMAAR Dubai’s official YouTube Channel.

The convergence of light, sound, and water promises to create an unforgettable experience for New Year revelers, marking the transition from one year to the next in grandeur.
